The purpose of this paper is to consider Competitive Intelligence (CI) practices in two Asian countries China and Japan. Under this article paid attention to previous literature in CI practices in these two counties and identified their strength and weakness in the practical field. Current practice of CI in Japan is more developed than china but china also gave entire attention and allocated additional resources to develop it since their CI field is developing rapidly. Managers in the firms also paid further concentration to advance their knowledge and understood significance of CI information to their business. Both counties governments obviously identified its value and taken many steps to build up further.
