The paper focuses on various subjects concerning the process of life insurance securitization. At the beginning of this work the fundament of this product is discussed as well as its history. The overall aim is to go through the interconnections and threats in relation to the recent world financial crisis and to evaluate the positive and negative aspects of life insurance securitization from different points of perspective ? investors, financial institutions and the overall view. A conclusion regardingthe general areas of attention involving life insurance securitization process is given at the end of this article.
