Regionalization of Spa Industry in the Czech Republic
Original language description
The Czech Republic belongs among countries with strongly developed spa industry with long history that was disrupted several times. Most recent significant change in 1990s was the change in structure of both guests and owners of facilities. As a part ofnational economy and form of tourism the spa industry is dependent on the natural conditions, which leads to assumption of strong concentration of activities in few regions of the Czech Republic. This paper aims to compare Czech Regions and Districts interms of spa industry activities and natural healing resources present.
