Performance of Public Administration in the Czech Republic from the Perspective of Subsidies Relations

All subjects of the national economy are affected by the system of public finance, but all of them have different preferences and expectations from public budgets. These preferences differentiate depending on which side of the public budgets these subjects are situated. This contribution focuses on subsidies as one of the main fiscal relations between public administration and other subjects in the national economy and tries to identify whether the treatment of subsidies on receivers and providers sideinfluences the performance of public administration institutions in a positive or negative way. The aim of this contribution is to analyze subsidy relations among public administration and all other subjects of national economy and to identify the connection with public administration performance in conditions of the Czech Republic.
