Enterprise valuation in international businesses has been one of the crucial issues of corporate finance for few decades. A lot of methods, both from theoretical and practical point of view, can be found in the valuation practice. Based on the sample ofexpert opinions gained from the Commercial Register, the paper provides evidence of current appraisal´s practice in the Czech Republic. The analysis is focused on mostly evaluated subject, the purpose for which the value is estimated and finally which valuation methods are chosen for determining the value of an enterprise.
