Original language description
The article, written in a form of a case study, deals with teaching informatics in bachelor study programs at faculties oriented to business of the Hungarian public universities. Its main target is to map teaching of informatics, to analyze and summarize it. Informatics teaching has been dealt by the authors for a long time in articles at the conferences and journals. The paper is a free continuation of the analysis at the Czech universities in the paper at ICTE conference in 2014. The introductory part of the article specifies teaching informatics as an important prerequisite of students' competitiveness in the sphere of commerce, in state and local administrative. The next part analyses bachelor teaching programs and study courses in economics, management, entrepreneurship, and business administration from the point of view of the informatics education. The analysis shows the institutions' interest in teaching informatics. The final part offers the comparison between the situation at the Hungarian and Czech universities. The findings can serve as a basis for further improvement in informatics teaching at the author's faculties.
