Original language description
The monograph aims at increasing awareness about the necessity of social aspects in entrepreneurship, which are not only complements to the existing economic system or stable theoretical flows but especially a prerequisite for economic sustainability and a variety of opinions offering an alternative to the prevailing idea of a free market and pure capitalism. Therefore, the monograph acquaints the reader with the meaning and importance of very nature of entrepreneurship and its role in society, social economy and the third sector and social capital as a basic factor of social economy in the theoretical level. It is supported by various practical examples that put the social level above the economic one. The theory is subsequently followed by case studies from the Czech Republic and Norway that are built on experience in the world of social enterprises and organizations and offer deeper insight into the whole problematics.
