Comparison of perception of advantages and disadvantages of entrepreneurship by university students

The aim of the article is the comparison of the perception of advantages and disadvantages of entrepreneurship among the university students. 1352 students from 25 Czech, Slovak and Poland universities were involved in the questionnaire survey. Tools of descriptive statistics, Z-score, contingency tables, Chi-square test were used for the evaluation of the hypotheses. The most exceptional interest in entrepreneurship was shown by students from Poland (38.1%), followed by Slovakia (35.7%), and the Czech Republic (26.9%). We found out that the advantages “the entrepreneur has more financial resources and a better position in society” positively influences propensity for entrepreneurship for students in Poland (50.1%) than the Slovak (42.3%) and Czech (35.5%) Republic. We found out that the disadvantages “the entrepreneur has no time for his family” negatively influences propensity for entrepreneurship for students in Poland than the Czech and Slovak Republic.
