The book introduces general aspects of the cluster policy, definition, types and rationale for smart cluster policy, and principles of Smart Cluster Policy model proposed by authors. The analyses of development and current situation of cluster policies‘ issues in the V4 countries cover the dimensions of governments and agencies supporting cluster organisations development within the national and regional dimensions, and the level of cluster organisation management is evaluated. The recommendations for improvement of the cluster policies in V4 countries, particularly, have been prepared and introduced on the basis of analyses of cluster policies‘ approaches, summarized in SWOT analyses, and with application of the proposed Smart Cluster Policy model.
