This study presents and analyzes the theme, processes and results of a student multidisciplinary design-oriented project that came to happen thanks to the close and prolific cooperation of a nonprofit organization and an institution of higher learning, both based in the Czech Republic. The student project named NEWINTAGE consisted of the following consecutive steps and events: a stage of preparation, an intensive five-day workshop during which a totally new lifestyle brand has been created, a public presentation of preliminary results, a two-month exhibition in a design gallery including interactive program, and other short-term exhibitions. The main goal of the whole project was to create a new lifestyle brand inspired by vintage style using contemporary tools and technologies.
