Endorsement of the Growth of the Creative Class Within Central Europe and the Background for its Development at Regional Level
Original language description
The perspectives of the current world as well as European economies growth are nowadays conditioned also by successful development and building of a creative industry at country as well as regional and municipal level. The study examines the perspectivesof the creative class growth at the level of Central European countries with a specific focus on the Czech Republic. The study presents the outcomes of the analysis aimed at identifying opportunities and constraints for the creative development of municipalities and regions. The initial analyses were realized for the current regional art-oriented university students, for the Czech established co-working centres, and also an analysis of educational systems to support culture in Central European countries. By comparing the outcomes of the analyses of individual researches and using the recommendations of the former EU 15, the conditions endorsing a creative potential in the particular region were identified.
