Robust Stabilization of Interval Plants Using PI Controllers
Original language description
The primary requirement in all control applications is the stability of the closed-loop system. However, if the controlled object is supposed to be described as an interval plant family, the situation can be more complicated, because the closed-loop stability must be ensured for all possible combinations of uncertain parameters. In this case, so-called robust stability is the issue of interest. This contribution deals with robust stabilization of interval plants using fixed proportional-integral (PI) controllers while the determination of the stability regions for parameters of these controllers are based on the combination of computing/plotting the stability boundary locus and on the sixteen plant theorem.
