Original language description
The paper deals with the design and the application of robust control to a mixing device, where sodium chloride (NaCl) water solution and water are mixed and the solution with required concentration of NaCl is prepared. The controlled mixing unit is a system with parametric uncertainty and identified mathematical model of the process has the form of a transfer function with interval parametric uncertainty. The method for robust PI controller design is based on plotting the stability boundary locus of the closed-loop control system in the plane of parameters of PI controllers. The demands on quality of control are assured by the consequent choice of parameters of robust PI controllers from this plane using the pole-placement method.
