Original language description
Differential Evoluiton (DE) is used in the task of PID controller design in this paper. The novality of the approach is that a chaotic strange attractor is used as the chaotic number generator to drive the mutation and crossover process in DE. The reuslts obtained are comparable with published results of both tuning and evolutionary algorithms.
