Dual axis wireless force measureemnt study
Original language description
Over the couple of years, wireless measurements and wireless networks have soared in all sorts of new applications due to its advantages which mean low cost, low power consumption, as well as wireless connection. Since 1990s a new era of sensor has developed with an advance of a MEMS technology. A convenient means of measuring a small force consists of applying the force to a strain gauge bridge sensor and signal condition circuit is proposed. The test measurement is based on the Freescale?s ZSTAR3 kitcollaborated with two ? axes strain gauge sensor by including its signal conditioning circuit. An experimental result relieves that the relationship between applied force and measured raw value is merely linear in every case of test. Maximum estimated standard deviations based on a sample calculated to be 0.411% in X ? axis, 0.3% in Y ? axis measurement.
