On geodesic mappings with certain initial conditions

  • Original language description

In this paper we studied geodesic mappings f between (pseudo -) Riemannian spaces Vn and Vn bar with the following initial condition ?(f(xo)) = k.g(xo), where g and are the metrics of Vn and Vn bar. We proved that if the Weyl tensor of the projective curvature is not vanishing at the point xo Vn then f is homothetic.
