In this paper a possibility of novel approach in constructing of a heterogeneous channel-coding schemes based on convolutional codec and chaotic system are investigated. This paper deals with utilization of chaotic discrete maps in purpose of interleaverdesign. Performance of turbo code is analysed for varying types of chaotic interleavers in terms of bit error rate (BER). Simulation results compare chaos-based interleaver design to various existing interleavers.
