The influence of ionizing radiation on chemical resistance of polymers
Original language description
The topic of this research paper is a comparison of influence of chemical and petrochemical products on the mechanical properties of the selected types of polymers modified by irradiation cross-linking. After irradiation by beta radiation the materials were load into the chemicals. For the evaluation of the mechanical properties of irradiated and non-irradiated test specimens the tensile test and impact hammer test were used.
