Introduction to Model Creation with New Graphical Interface of COMSOL Multiphysics
Original language description
The paper deals with presentation of innovated technique for model creation in software tool COMSOL Multiphysics v4.0, which is well known program used for numerical modelling. There is new graphical interface, which uses vertical model structure based on tree topology instead of classical horizontal menu. This model description is well known in technical design software like CATIA. This new vertical model structure is based on right-click mouse function and it should lead to faster and streamline modelling workflow. COMSOL Multiphysics v4.0 is still founded on numerical calculating using finite element method, which is able to compute on several coupled physics phenomenon in a model simultaneously. The article compares the model creation from the viewof previous version 3.5a and new COMSOL version 4.0, which demonstrate the new graphical interface for the very first time.
