This contribution focuses on the behavioral modeling of the systems in the system engineering. The system engineering process is described and overview of the system modeling language (SysML) is presented. the SysML basic principles and diagrams are discussed. Practical part of the paper discuss behavioral modeling process, which is illustrated by the set of the example models.
