Original language description
The paper deals with mathematical modeling of the heat balance in heat exchangers. It describes a computer application programmed for calculation during the heating and cooling of fluids in regenerative co-flow shell and tube heat exchangers. The calculation is based on the mathematical model and its analytical solution derived in Maple programming environment for the case that there is no change of state of fluid flowing through the heat exchanger. The application can be used as a teaching aid as wellas for real calculations in practice.
