The increasing society dependence on the technologies also increases the society dependence on the critical infrastructure as the basis of ensuring and maintaining the society functional continuity. Logical consequence of this fact is the security and safety measures/standards development in relation to their potential to minimize the impacts of identified risk. For the fulfillment of that argument, however, it is necessary to constitute the security education that would provide a basis for security liaison officer education whose skills and knowledge would become fundamental for the operator security plan elaboration. Article therefore defines the challenges and objectives that should be achieved by security education and optimal structure of securityeducation in relation to critical infrastructure protection and resilience.
