Remote Experiment On Time Domain Phenomena In RLC Circuits And Their Characterization
Original language description
A RLC circuit is an electrical circuit consisting of a resistor, an inductor and a capacitor connected serially or parallelly. This element has a very wide scale of usage mainly thanks to its oscillatory properties. Another feature of this circuit is called a transient phenomenon. It is caused by step voltage which is admitted into the circuit. Reverse determining of the individual circuit elements properties is not easy. However the transient phenomenon provides options to simplify this activity. Thisarticle deals with the issue of determining the parameters of RLC circuit using the transient phenomenon. First, it describes the basic properties of the RLC circuit and its mathematical representation. Next, it focuses on the creation of a remote experiment for measuring of transient phenomenon in RLC circuits. This allows using of this method to basic users. As a part of this paper a simulation of the transient phenomenon was created with the possibility to change parameters of circuit
