Attenuation of Wireless Communication under IEEE 802.11ah
Original language description
This contribution aims at shielding communication under a new standard for wireless communication, IEEE 802.11ah. This standard is very probably going to be applied in the rapidly growing area of the Internet of Things (IoT) due to its perfect battery saving system and range of operation. This work focuses on a design of a frequency selective filter shielding a very narrow band of frequencies used just under IEEE 802.11ah and thus passing all of the other frequency ranges used under earlier standards for wireless communication. The motivation for shielding of such a communication is primarily in elimination of the possibility of eavesdropping of delicate or private data.
