    Dynamic simulation of the CAD model in SimMechanics with multiple uses

  • Original language description

    This paper contains one way how to create a dynamic simulation of a motion system and shows its application possibilities. The first step is to design the CAD model of the system, which is also for manufacturing purposes. The CAD model is further used in all other parts and it is, therefore, an essential part of this work. For the model physical system is used SimMechanics library in MATLAB/Simulink, where the CAD model is exported to and where the required forces/torques are created. After the physical model finalisation, the mathematical model of the system is derived using mass points substitution for each fixed parts. As a result of this work are the accurate model of the physical system and the simplified mathematical model for the design control law purposes. There are also mentioned application possibilities.
