    In this paper is presented an analysis of the software project estimation process for the case of conditions in Czech companies. Key findings of the survey were that (a) the most widely used estimation method is Expert judgments with 57% incidence, (b) the most of surveyed companies (39%) operate in Web applications, and (c) the 54% companies fail to complete a quarter of projects in the estimated timeframe
