A Liquid Level Monitoring System for a Remote Reservoir
Original language description
The paper deals with the design and implementation of a system for monitoring the level of liquid in a remote reservoir without power supply from electric network. The hardware of the solution is based on Arduino Mega platform with GSM / GPRS sending data and level measurement using hydrostatic pressure gauge. An internet server is used to collect data in a database and to present data to users in a form of web pages. The work focuses on high precision, low power consumption and low cost of the final system. The paper describes the developed hardware and software. The paper also present testing of the system in real conditions.
