Theories and Practice Conference held on 7 to 8 September 2010 in the premises of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. It was the second year of international conference for Anglicists Americanists focusing on issues in linguistics, literature, translation andcultural studies. The total number of participants was 54, including 15 foreign (Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Japan). The conference helped to establish new forms of cooperation between the participating universities and to the developmentand internationalization of the organizing institution.
