    The nurse who cares for a dying patient, should be social support in closing patient's biographical story and should be helpful in a dignified living during last moments of life. Prosociality is always seen in the context of human dignity and human identity. Caring for the seriously ill and dying people puts demands especially on the emotions. Sister, which treats a dying person, must be able to take an attitude to herself. If she hides or intentionally denies her feelings, she will not be empathetic with the feelings of another person. The dying man and his family are sensitive to behavior of their neighborhood. Man is a social beings in his inner nature, he cannot neither live nor develop their human potential without relation to others, without social contact. The aim of our research was to determine how nurses perceive encounters with death and dying of patient, what is the attitude of nurses to their own death, what their feelings during the dying of patient, how long the patient
