Health of the individual, of the family and of the society in the context of value-orientation among youth

  • Original language description

Authors focus on specific aspects of quality of life, which they consider to be indispensable determinants of health. Health is seen as one of the most precious values in life as well as a goal not only for modern medicine, but one that should be attained by the individual, the family and the society as a whole. One of the main ideas supported in the study is the emphasis on subjective perception of quality of life by the individual, the family or the community, which can be in conflict with the objective criteria for assessing quality of life as understood by the society. Said theoretical background is set by the authors as a basis for the empirical portion of the study, which is to be a humble analysis of the value systems held by adolescents in theCzech Republic with an overlap regarding the pathological forms of manifestations of youth in society.
