Original language description
The main aim of this paper is to present what types of narration are most often used in English language textbooks and foreign literary texts. This paper briefly introduces to the role of textbooks in foreign language acquisition in preschool children and using narrative methods in early English teaching. The findings from the quantitative research are supplemented by results from a supplementary research method of a qualitative semi-structured interview with kindergarten teachers using textbooks containing narratives.
