Past climate dynamics and human occupation: Eurasian Perspectives of Environmental Archaeology
Original language description
The interdisciplinary focus of the present palaeoenvironmental studies, presented in this publication, is principally on the late Quaternary climate dynamics and related landscape transformations reflected by geographically-specific ecological, biotic and cultural evidence. The edited research papers represent up-dated regional palaeoecology syntheses based on detailed palaeo-proxy data analyses of new and most relevant anthropogenic site records, including the marginally explored areas of Eurasia, andencompassing the broad time period of cultural evolution from the Palaeolithic to historical times. Discussed innovative analytical methodologies and intellectual scientific approaches add to modern environmental sciences.
