Each economy of any advanced country in the World is pushed forward through particular industrial branches which have got their own supply chains. Inside those supply chains, the huge material, financial and information flows originate. All flows are necessary to manage and that?s the core of supply chain management. The paper deals with very up-to-date topic, the supply chain management has got constantly growing importance in the global business market and the global World. To be able to compete it?s crucial to use all resources effectively and also effectively manage all mentioned flows originating in the supply chains. Postponement and speculation strategies can beused as an effective tool to categorize single production plants within existing supply chain to design transparent system to effectively manage all huge flows in that supply chain and to reach good supply chain metric values.
