This article deals with location-based services (LBS) and augmented reality (AR) in environmental management. There are defined terms like location-based services, augmented realitz (which are related with virtual reality), augmented Virtuality, mixed reality and their tools. In another section of this paper there is presented how LBS and AR can be used in environmental management, specifically in waste management (as a tool of information for current youth about waste management), and also serve as a tool for a city tour.
