The article deals with the genesis of quadcopters and their development. At the same time, the authors analyze the possibilities of their use in solving extraordinary events in the Czech Republic. In the next part is solved the issue of principles and practical use of quadcopters with possibility of use in emergency situations. In the final part of the paper, the authors describe use quadcopters for emergencies and explore new perspectives of development in this area.
