    Museums are essential and important elements of saving information, local traditions and ways of lives of our ancestors. It is very important to preserve and protect museums themselves their buildings and their collections against extraordinary events. Extraordinary events are, for purpose of this article, undesirable, unwanted and objectionable events, which require rescue system arrival. For example, natural disasters such as flood, windstorm, heavy snowfall etc., but also human caused disasters such as fire, theft, burglary etc. This paper deals with risk management in museums. It can be primarily useful in issues Museum emergency programs and procedures. The article shows approach to identify and analyze risks and extraordinary events in museums. The article outlines possible idea how this issue can be solving.
