    Design of radio absorbers based on multicomponent magnetic particles

  • Original language description

    Multicomponent particles with ?core-shell? structure where MnZn ferrite is a core and polyaniline (PANI) is a shell were prepared by oxidative polymerization of aniline. Obtained particles were then embedded into the polyurethane matrix for the preparation of radio absorbing materials (RAMs). The complex permeability and permittivity spectra of RAMs were investigated in radio-frequency band. Based on the obtained experimental data, single-layer metal-backed radio absorbers (RAs) were numerically estimated. Theoretical calculations reviled that by changing the composition of multicomponent particles (conductivity and morphology of shell) is possible to tune the matching frequency of RA. We have theoretically shown the efficiency of application of frequency selective surface (FSS) for extension of operating frequency range of RAs.
