    In this paper, the influence of mixing conditions, carbon black loading and carbon black properties on the reagglomeration process in natural rubber meltsisinvestigated. This process, generally known as flocculation,arises during post-mixing stageswhen carbon black aggregates tendto recover the structure disrupted by mixing shear.In order to evaluate this process, a new approach for theflocculation process assessmentderived from the method of Coran and Donnetpublished in 1992 is introduced here. It wasfound that the method gives well-founded information about flocculation kinetics related to all the tested variables.
