Original language description
Polymer/clay nanocomposites prepared from either fully hydrophobic or mostly hydrophobic polymer matrix or three different type of montmorillonite were observed. The influence of the concentration of used compatibilizator on several nanocomposite properties was evaluated. The morphology, mechanical, optical and barrier properties at all prepared samples were observed and studied. Additionally, the evaluation of the influence of probable synergic effect of the compatibilizator and clay modification was studied.
