    The paper describes the design, modelling and construction of CNC machine tool. Grom the available resources were purchased components that were used for making 3-axis milling machine of portal type for multipurpose manufacturing. The machine enables the manufacturing of easily machinable metal alloys, plastics, composites and graphite. The decisive criterion in addition to the functionality of component was in particular the price of component. CNC machine toll is a functional solution for the shop floor small batch production.
