Partially biodegradable porous materials with incorporated bioactive agents prepared by simple techniques possess an enormous interest in tissue engineering applications. Polylactide-poly(methyl methacrylate) blends and methyl chavicol (hydrophobic bioacitve agent) were utilized for microparticle preparation by oil-in-water solvent evaporation technique.
