Polylactide grafted chitosan copolymer is well known material for controlled drug release. In this work, copolymer based on commercial available polylactide (PLA) grafted by chitosan (CS) were prepared with the aim of loading herbal extracts (EO) acting against herpes simplex and verruca, respectively, as well as to control their release and prologation of the antimicrobial effect.
