    Healthcare management plays a significant role in aligning continuous improvement of health care benefits, as well as looking forward for the desirable application of antimicrobial textile materials in the healthcare sector. Nowadays, from a healthcare perspective, antimicrobial textiles have gained excessive interest for medical application due to their potential in gradually reducing the spread of infections. This chapter mainly reveals the significance of antimicrobial textile materials application in healthcare for the benefit and welfare of the society. Research shows that nature-based textile materials or antimicrobial textile materials applications in healthcare are promising, owing to its contemporary awareness of environmental matters. Therefore, this chapter primarily emphasizes that antimicrobial textile materials applications in the healthcare sector can be seen to be a novel and value-based approach of the healthcare organization in order to cope with the societal challenges of Horizon 2020.
