This work is a continuation of the "Mass deacidification of paper archive materials" project that was implemented in the National Archive (Czech republic) in 1995 to 1997. The study provides a comparison of two methods of mass deacidification of paper documents (Bookkeeper method and CSC Book Saver method) and also describes effect of the deacidification technologies on the physical-chemical properties of the paper support and also their effect on the writing media and the overall appearance of the document.
