Original language description
The town of Telč has, primarily thanks to its inscription into the UNESCO World Heritage List of Cultural and Natural Monuments a great potential for the growth of tourism. Despite many positive steps taken for the development of tourism in the town in last years, Telč as a tourist product has still many reserves. Anoticeable seasonal character and a predominance of the one-day stay visitors is one of the main problems of tourism in the town. The sustainable growth of tourism needs, despite the good work of the Municipal Office´s Department of Culture, an establishment of a functional organisation of destination management. The primary survey made in 2012 established the opinions of the local residents of tourism in Telč, confirming the premise that, according to the Doxey´ s Irritatio Index, the local residensts of Telč are in th phase of "apathy".
