The paper describes the project of Applying educational imagination in tuition to develop empathy and creativity as basic competencies of Social Work Studies graduates, as part of the curriculum of students majoring in health and social care studies, implemented in 2014 and 2015 at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. The anticipated outcome of the project is to make graduates? behaviours more refined and improve their readiness for innovative and creative solutions to work problems. This article also contains a sample description of the activity leading to the development of creativity of relevant students.
