Fear of Terrorism as a Decesive Factor in International Students Mobility: Different Perspective on Security Management
Original language description
International terrorism affects various areas of society, while various governmental bodies participate in security management of such events. This paper deal with a non-traditional dimension of managing the terrorist attacks, the connection with international students mobility. The paper presents the possible effects of the 2015 terrorist attack in Paris on short-term mobility in terms of the 2016 IBW in Saint-Denis. The data were obtained through a semi-structured interview with the IUT Saint-Denis representative and a questionnaire distributed in December 2016 to IBW participants. The perspective of fear management might be a future challenge not only universities but also the other sectors in society.
