  • Original language description

Outputs of the workshop were projects designed by students of FA BUT for location of two former chaples (Chapel of St. Anthony of Padua and St. Pancras nearby Perná and chapel of St. Rochus at Rochusberg nearby Dolní Dunajovice). The task was a reminder of pirgrim places and pilgrimage itself. The methodology of the workshop was lead with an emphasis on the topological properties of the studied site. Specifically, it was the awakening of spatial qualities of the area with the aim of perception of the landscape as a network of three-dimensional objects that interact with each other. The projects were tutored with regard to a particular spatial configuration, in which the newly proposed architectural intervention was located, and on finding appropriate forms reflecting the elements of traditional small baroque architecture and contemporary architectural design. Projects were presented at panels and models (scale of 1:10 to 1:100 according to the design).
