Constantly evolving area in earthworks technologies is mechatronics - combination of mechanics, electronics and software engineering. Benefits of mechatronics are primarily in reduction of the economic requirements for the operation of the eqipment, its multifunctionality, the increased of accuray of the work performed, the time machine utilization, safety and operator komfort. The contribution deals with the economic impacts of the use of mechatronic control systems in operation earthmoving machines, including those in situ measurements.
