Failure analysis and identification of causes of SRC system malfunctions – case study

  • Original language description

The research deals with the issue of emissions generated by combustion engines, the system approach, and the methodology to solve the given problem. In terms of methodology, the solution consisted in the application of process management principles combined with the procedures of material engineering. This method provided tools to solve technically demanding tasks that consist of identifying the causes of the DNOX system failures, where intergranular corrosion attack was revealed at its key components.
